We teach every language to all types of students. We also offer translations, cultural training, accent reduction and other programs. For almost 30 years, we have served San Diego's language-learning community and are now expanding to receive international students from all over the world. Our goal is to inspire internationalism within our students and create a fun, inclusive and multilingual environment in our spacious new facility in Mission Valley, which we are transforming into a cultural and international center by hosting events that promote language, art, culture, and internationalism.

Our Story

Language World, Inc. was established in 1981 in San Diego to serve the growing language-learning groups of Spanish, French, and Italian. In the 28 years since its establishment, Language World has won many awards for its inviting atmosphere, unique method and impressive results. Today, we've evolved to meet the growing needs of an ever-globalized world and changed our name to Language World USA to represent this change. We now offer instruction in every language to students from all corners of the world, translations, and cultural training.

Our Conversational Method

Our primary objective is to make our students functionally conversational in the target language. We achieve this through our natural and straight-forward Conversational method taught by native instructors, which serves as the most effective method for fast-paced and efficient language learning.

We make it a point that our instructors customize each class to fit the needs and backgrounds of students. In our classes, you'll be doing most of the talking in the target language about topics that are pertinent and of interest to you.
